Save a few sprigs of chervil for decoration. Peel
and cut the black radish into large pieces. Cut
the onion into half-moons and crush a few
cloves of peeled garlic. Cut the leek whites into
rings.
Whip cream with an egg yolk. Wash the chervil.
You will need at least one bushel of it for one
black radish.
Now put all the vegetables in a soup kettle or in
the soup machine. Add chicken stock. After
about twenty minutes, put the hand blender in
the soup kettle or let the soup machine
program run its course. After the cooking time,
spatulate the egg cream mixture through the
soup.
Finish in the soup bowl with a tuft of chervil and
a slice of breakfast bacon, dried under weight
in the microwave (about 1 minute at full power).
Omit the bacon in a veggie menu.
